Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems
This vacuum cleaner is an excellent choice for apartment dwellers as it has a smaller docking system and has its own garbage bin. The app lets you choose different modes and monitor the cleanliness, plus the mopping function is impressive.
Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and mops are impressive. It picks pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties, self-cleans and refills its tank.
iRobot Roomba Combination
The iRobot Combo includes mopping in addition to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite able to compete with our current Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app for mobile that is simpler to use but it does make an excellent choice. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all sizes and types from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as sophisticated as other systems, like LiDAR or structured light, but it still manages to prevent most collisions.
The Combo has the same smarts as the j7 Plus with the addition of new acoustic sensors onboard to identify the type of floor and AI-powered navigation. However, it lacks the ability to set suction power manually. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only model and doesn't have a an auto-emptying dock.
The Combo is one of my favorite options for most homes. Its elegant design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the market. The sleek, matte black plastic looks superior to the competition's glossy or metallic finishes, and iRobot's small touches--like a leather tab to open the bin on the board and a shelf inside the dock that can hold additional bags--are classier than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo also makes it easy to create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones, and Clean Zones.
Roborock
Roborock, a relatively new player in the robotic mop and vacuum industry has already established itself by offering innovative cleaning technology. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems use vibrating mops to scrub floors of dirt. Its navigation is superb, avoiding furniture or rugs with ease. It can even raise itself over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings, including cleaning schedules and which rooms it must be cleaning. It also has an emergency button' that forces the robot to return home in the event that its power is cut off. It can be set to shut off automatically when an approaching storm is detected.
The RCV 5 is easy to use and, despite being heavy at almost 4kg, it's hardly difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Safety features like sensors that warn it to stay clear of stairs are appreciated by parents with small children. After being charged, the device takes only several hours to fully charge and the two buttons on the top will blink in green to signal that it is now ready to use.

Beko RCV3
The Beko RCV3 is a sleek and well-equipped hybrid robot vacuum/mop that does a fantastic job of keeping floors spick and span. It's smaller than the other models and its main brush is a bit shorter however, it did to do a good job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side that is used for edges is a nice touch and, despite the fact that it didn't lift dirt off our carpets as well as some of the competitors, it did a very decent job overall.
